The FTP lenses? pop the hood, raise the lights and you can get to the screws holding them on in back.

You need to access the bolts in the backside.
US-spec FC's don't have lights in them.

There aren't lights in them. The pop up headlights simply shine through them on US models.
I remember hearing that the Japanese models had separate lights in them but it could also be my imagination.

In either case, the screws are on the backside.

Correct. On the first turn of the headlight dial, it turns on the parking lights, which shine through the FTP lenses.

Always make sure you pull the 30A RETRACTOR fuse in the engine bay fuse box after you've raised the lights and before you stick your hand in there to reach the screws. You really don't want those lights coming back down on your arm...

Remove the plastic trim around the headlights too. It makes access much easier.
