Painting the wheels tonight, 1 done with pics

Yup, my wheels had a really ugly / fading gold paint on them when I bought them. It was kind of fading away and they had some really nasty surface rust on them so my friend I decided to clean the wheels and repaint the middle of them black. Got one wheel cleaned and painted tonight opinions?

The tape is sticking up in the air... It was just a shield to protect the outter part of the wheel.. It's not overspray...

None taken man.. I'm waiting to get a 5 lug conversion for the car and then I'm going to pick up some FD rims and have them powdercoated black or gun metal So basically this is just a quick fix for something ugly on the car...

i like those kinda rims, with the semi deep dish chromed lip and the middle black....i think they look badass on certain cars like the AE86, and maybe the FC also, i gotta see the finished product of the whole car from afar.

The black is much better than the gold. Black wheels always makes a car look mean. Also the colour will compliment the black trim that's on the S4's. I think it's a very good, economical move to make the car look better. Post the pics when you're done.
