Anyone ever painted the stock 5 spoke 91 rims?? I think they could look kind of nice in a ricer kinda way. Here is what I was thinking. I would be using these for the winter tires so I just want to dress them up a bit

BTW I did these in like 4 seconds in photoshop thus the crappy results.

if you are painting go black, your chances of it looking good are probly the best. these are my wheels, sanded, painted, and clear coated..

 

Paint the lip/edge black and go with a gunmetal 5spoke.

 

I'm gonna have to say black...Don't know what it is but black wheels on a white car look hella sexy...

 

i like green wheels with a black lip on white cars. sorry if i got carried away with the rest of the picture. 8P

 

^ha, lol. I think a darker 'bronze' color would look better than gold. I really like the gold/bronze look, but I probably wouldn't do it to mine. I'm afraid that I might not like it in a few years... But right now, for you, DO IT!! Post pics!
