GT3 RS lime green... I dare you to do it!
Honestly, I think it would look pretty badass with a flat black T2 hood and flat black touring wing, but you need about 300+ RWHP to back a color like that up. I'd probably go with a either the new Mazda OEM copper or blue metallics. Both would be sweet on an FC, and honsetly how many cars can pull off copper?

as i was going to buy my GTU i saw two sapphire blue s4's
one at a dealer that wanted 3k because it was immaculate and had 80k original miles
and another that was just sitting off on the side of the road with no wheels on it
the guy was asking 300 bucks for it!

Subaru Blue!!!
My FC was originally Tornado Silver Metallic, but now it is blurple...like the one two posts up. At first I was dissappointed, cause I really like the tornado silver, but the blurple is growing on me.

Just remember that if you pick a dark color like black especially it will show ever flaw in the body work. if you have a few little dents and dings, or drive down dirty roads a lot a lighter color would be a wiser choice.
Personally my vote would be for 80's IROC Blue

The best thing you can do to pick a good color, go to a handful of new car dealers and look at the cars in the sun. Then grab the paint code. There are some really good colors that the oem's are using that are relatively cheap when compared to custom mixes. Hope that helps.

Look at the Dupont Hot Hues collection. We painted our RX7 Autocross car Black Cherry from that collection. Looks dark red sometimes, black other times and even gray, all depending on the light.
You can see the history of our rescue of the car from complete disaster to pretty decent autocross car here.

We still need to get the engine built up as we are still running the original 87 NA with nearly 90,000 miles on it. So far only have cold air intake, Racingbeat Roadrace Header with RB presilencer then two glasspacks exiting just in from of the rear wheels. All pollution controls removed and interior gutted. Full rollcage as you will see in the photos.
Hoping to get Megasquirt and aggressive streetport after the 2008 season. Our goal for this winter is to get more weight out and coil overs and camber plates so we can get some negative camber.
Oh, and the car had been sitting for 6 years when we got it for a $1.
