Smile Painted my car 88IntegraLS style(PICS>56K)

First of all thanks to 88IntegraLs for the killer write up, that he did on his paintjob

My car have been in the progress of a garage paintjob for quite a while now, and the past weekend was set to be the point of no return.

The total cost of this respray job is less than 400$ or euros like I paid. Including Primer & thinner, Paint, Hardener & thinner, tape, beers, plastic and tacky cloths.

This is when I was prepping the body for the respray

It had a big dent in the rear which I banged out and filled in.

The usual sunroof rust problems have been solved for good.

This was taken during the sanding of the body, man that was a real easy jub compared to filling and sanding.

The guy who laid the paint insisted on having his picture taken, before the respray. LOL.

The finished product isnt that bad besides from a few runners that will be sanded and buffed out in the near future.

i hope it lasts, i have yet to see an acceptable paint job where the OE paint was painted over... at least by my standards.

All the jobs over the OE paint iv seen crack and peal off in a few years.

Thanks to everybody.
The wheels are 16x7,5" TSW Hockenheim, an ok looking wheel but they are a bit dirty due to the Hawks

Rubbers are Good Year NCT5 215/55/16 ive used for a trackday in the rain(heavy rain) and they performed very well, but as a dry weather tire they pretty much sucks

This car is my daily driver and the only car that I own, maybe in a few years I can afford a nice Datsun 240Z and the Mazda will be a trackcar(it is more or less allready)

Cloead- that's the reason I didn't buy the car from Zach (like the one on the hood?). Good thing I went to look at it before I offered him money. But that new white paint shines!! Excellent!

That porsche was made as a cheap way to have a sportdcar.
Here in Denmark we have a huge salestax on car which makes for an example the rx8 cost something near 85K$
Anyways buying a high performancecar is not cheap overhere, but buying a van is. See where im going?
This "slaughter" was also performed on some Camaros to make them buyable for normal people, but there was made a hardtop for that one so the original lines were kept, only visual difference was a yellow instead of white license tag.
But ofcourse the fuhking goverment stopped that idea a couple of years ago
