Overheating Problem Pleas help!

Ok. Man this sux. I just bought this car. I flushed the radiator 2 times, new thermostat. I will run the car for a few minutes, then shut it down and refill the system. No matter how many times i do this, i still tends never to get full. When i drove it 20 mins on the freeway to get downtown, it overheated, spitting out all its water into the overflow and onto the ground. HOw do i check if i need a new motor? Anyone in san diego (not a shop) wanna help me rebuild it? Or maybe it time for a turbo swap? Help. What do i do?

sounds like coolant seals. Do a search also if the smoke is white and has a sweet smell it might just be that. do a search plenty of info.

pop the raditaor cap off and start the car. if theres lots of bubbles. then the coolant seals are bad.

ok first thing check that your coolant cap is good ( I would buy an new one) becasue the spring is supposed to be overcome only after system pressure, if your overflow is full after a drive than the cap is not holding the pressure.
second there is a little phillips screw on the radiator on the top passenger side (on the side of the rad tank) when the car is at operatin temperature bleed the system with that screw.
if that still doesnt fix it than its more than likely your coolant seals

Also make sure that the clutch is good on the fan and that the water pump is in good working order.
