When does it overheat? Idling? Cruising on the freeway? It could be blockage in the radiator, problem with the fan clutch. More info on your car and relevant mods too.

Yeah if it is overheating on the highway, do you have your underbody tray installed? If it is overheating when stopped in traffic thats probably your clutch fan, or your not running a fan shroud. How long have you had the car have you had the radiator flushed? Are you running an efan. Need alot more info.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm having a heating problem. I live in Florida and my microteach ecu says ill be doing 100c on the freeway with "spirited" driving if you know what that means. I have a turbo swapped GXL with the TMIC, I've had to move the temp sender to where the thermo-switch used to be because the NA temp sender is smaller than the turbo II sender and it does not read properly with the T2 sender. I think it has something to do with the different resistances (its been replaced twice and its doing the same thing).
I have yet to replace my thermostat so I'm wondering if that is my issue.
