ok so last night i pushed my car a little and then like a hour in the drive through in mcdonalds in overheated then i waited it to cool down added water turn it on then it was fine i guess it might of been to much air or not enough coolant the was last night Now today I open it the water outlet and changed the thermostast and put new coolant and i turn it on and i see just little bit of smoke coming out it does it really even have a color but i'll say maybe white i have researched this and it sounds like a coolant seal but also i smell it and it does not smell like coolant can this be fixed with copper welder??? i mean you can barley see it and advice????? please help!

there has been a lot of talk about smoke on this page, just do a search for "smoke"
the rx puffs a little when it starts sometimes for most people, i think...

bubbling as in bubbling over because it was to full or was the watering boiling? either or that is nt normal, it is common to have your resivor over flow when you have a blown coolant seal. I suggest getting a leak down check. It is the best way to find out if you blown a apex. but if it is continuing to smoke well after start up even if it is a little then its a coolant seal. unless it the color blue or blueish, then oil. but i would believe by your discription that its a blown coolant seal. but leak down check will tell you if you have a leak or not.

If You want to assure Yourself that you didn't Blow a coolant Seal,You can get the Cooling system Pressure tested to see if it is Holding a constant pressure..The Compression test will tell you if you have done anything Major. If I were in your shoes though,I would be monitoring the Coolant Level within the next few days though,Just to make sure that the car isn't Eating any Coolant..and If it Spews Coolant then that is another Thing(Air lock, bad cap, coolant seal.any of those..)..You may also want TO change your Rad cap too..(OEM CAP),Just to be on the SAFE SIDE...best of Luck.
