lets say a fc, the coolant hose broke, so the car started shooting white smoke, pulled over when save, and the car refuses to restart...
any ideas on getting it started?

also, if i crank the car with the radiator cap off, the level would rise slowly, let out an airbubble, then drop

coolant seal, correcto?

That air is coming from somewhere...

If you don't have any external coolant leaks... yeah I'd say that's a coolant seal... hows the exhaust looking?

it might not start because its flooded, either from fuel or if your coolant seal is damaged then flooded from water.

well, the heater hose broke, so the only source of air was from the heatercore when i installed a new heater hose?

and these sparkplugs are damn tight! i cant get it off... cant get a good grip
should i take out the lower one and crank and see if anything comes out, and then add oil in there and stuff?

the ehater hose is the one by the oilfilter

it didnt start after it was hsut down after it overheated

if water flooded it, shouldnt it still start unless both the coolant seal blew? i dont think i even hear it puff....

the cranking sound also sound alot different than my s4.... thats ok, right?

Hrm. I do believe I'll be replacing that hose before I take my car out again. It's weeping coolant at the engine end.

rotflmfao...

Anyhow, don't put too much force on that sparkplug!! You don't want to strip it! They're very sensitive... when you put them in you're supposed to use anti-sieze grease so that they aren't as hard to take out.

You have a socket the right size? I can't remember what it is right now.

I wouldn't add oil in there if it's flooded....

Pull the EGI fuse (engine bay driver side) and crank to unflood it...

i did replace the hose...
hey, i am new in rx7s!
but i love them though!

too bad its an automatic... i think pushing the car at 20mph and then let go of the clutch would unflood anything.......

the crank sounds sooo smooth....
