I overheated my engine for 15 mins driving to work (temp all the way) on my stock 13b n/a. The heater hose below the oil filter had a small pin hole leak from oil drips.
The engine is still running like a champ 4k miles later

Of course different engines will differ, but usually in your case 5 mins of over heating at 225F is not that bad, even with a turbo.
Am I sane enough to say that 225F temperature is not even high enough to make any kind of damage to the engine?

Nah, 225 isn't extremely high. I see 200-210F spikes occasionally in very hot weather & it's had no ill effects.

Have you noticed any new leaks? If your really worried about the motor, you could always do a compression test.

there is no leak...
My efan didnt turn on at 180*f when it suppose to, then i shut it down. While my car was shut down, i wired the efan directly to batt (so it turned on) and drove home that way (the water temp drop to 180*f).

I suspect the relay or sensor take a dump...but just worried about my motor. I will do compression test at mazda dealer later this week.
