over boosting

k.. im just getting back into 89 t2. have an e6k, 2 1/2 straight pipe exhaust no cat, cold air intake, street ported, upgraded fuel pump, and before i got it the injectors were oversized (not sure how much). the problem im havin is that im over boosting.. alot.. already blown some seals and have had it fix.. kinda got to questions.

1. is there a way to keep the car from over boosting until i get a new turbo?

2. what do you think would be a better deal.. goin with an upgraded turbo than can handle 15psi or gettin t06 or something like it..

anyhelp on this will help..

thanks

Boost control is all about the waste gate.
The stock waste gate is at its limit with stock intake & exhaust.
When you mod the intake and/or exhaust, you have to port the waste gate to keep up with the extra flow.

A big turbo should go together with a big external waste gate.
