Other Mazdas with same tranny
hey guys, I was searching the web and found this guy that does rwd 4g63 Mitsubishi swaps by using Mazda trannies. He also listed a 88-89 929 and 89-93 b2600 trannies. Are those the same as the T2 trannies?

The 'popular' way to do it would be using an early B2600 bellhousing on a TII R-type trans.
The 929 used a version of the R-type trans, I would assume the B2600 did also. Gearing isn't as good as the RX version.
The carbureted B2200 used an M-type trans similar to N/A RX-7's and Miatas. Again, the truck gearing is no good for our cars.
The end of the input shaft may also differ on these other transmissions, there is another thread floating around here discussing that.
