Easy hesitation fix...anyone else?

Today I reset the TPS sensor because the car was hesitating and bucking. After I reset it the car ran great, about 5 minutes into the drive the car started acting up again like the tps sensor reset itself. These symptoms are very spontaneous though, sometimes it runs but hesitates and sometimes when I go into boost at all the car will cut out completely. For some reason I had the idea of turning the key off while driving and turning it back on to reset the ecu. I know it doesn't completely reset it but it definately does something. So when I turn the key off then back on the car runs great and does not hesitate at all. Has anyone tried this before?

that sounds exactly like my problem... exept i thought my car stalled so while still rolling i turned the key forward and it cleared up , but comes back almost exactly 30 seconds later ... i think it may have something to do with the cold start assist or something related that causes it to go away for the 30 second period . but thats all ive figured out so far if i get mine right i will post what fixed it please keep me posted

With your series five it sounds more like the electric omp has gone **** up and the ECU is going into a default/limp mode. So. Check your CODES to see if you have a OMP fault.

Or search this site for LIMP MODE.
