OS Giken Throwout bearing

Does anyone know where I can get a throwout bearing for my OS Giken twin-disc setup?

I have a OS Giken twin disc in my FC and I just use the stock Mazda throw out bearing.

But if you do want the actual OS Giken one, then check out rhdjapan.com

Its not bad...once you get used to it. Really stiff compared to a ACT extreme pressure plate.

First couple times I stalled it, wasn't ready for it and didn't have the rpms high enough.

I freekin LOVE it though, no matter how hard you abuse it, it never slips.

Is it a on/off switch kind of thing? Or is it still something you can slip a little?

If your not used to it, it can be lightswitch engagement. After a little while of getting used to it, it can be slipped and driven failry normally.

I live out in the country and only drive through little towns, so it wasn't bad. But if I ever took the FC to the city in stop and go traffic.....then I hated it. Very annoying in the city

Do you have any problems shifting at high RPM? I have the OS giken twin-plate with the stock OEM throwout bearing, and I have problems shifting at 7500+...

Hmmm now that you mention it I guess it was kinda tough to shift at high rpm's.

My tranny was screwed so it didn't shift well at the best of times and my FC is RHD so shifting with my left hand took some getting used to.

I'm comparing the position where the stock throwout bearing contacts the fingers on the stock pressure plate (PP) vs. the OS Giken unit. It looks like the OS bearing would need to be 1/2" smaller than stock to contact the same way the stock bearing contacts the stock PP.
