Ordering Apex seals from Mazda...

Im going through the online parts cataloge for a 88 Turbo, and now i've reached the Apex seal area... The pictures are a bit blurry so im not sure.. Now it says the Apex seals are part # N32611C00B. Now does that include both pieces of the seal, Or do i need to also order "piece-2nd-Apex seal" part #N32611C03A.. And then there are some others aswell such as "Piece side" This is all on P.36 (http://www.mazdamotorsports.com/weba...servlet/PubRX7)

Any Help would REALLY be appreciated!

I'm guessing you need to order both parts of the APEX seal.

I'm ASSUMING the side piece is a part of 11-3011. So it'd be that number plus 11-C03. I know I used differnt numbers but they relate to your numbers.

I'm so unsure that I'd have to call them to find out which parts. In other words, 'I don't know"

By the way, if you buy a complete set of apex seals, give us an idea of the price of just the set of apex seals, so we can compare prices b/t different *outfits*.

The updated number is an n351 number as I recall. IT is the new 2mm 2pc seal...the old 3pc are no longer available. Even if your order the old number, they give you the new one. THey come sealed in a package with the small piece already glued to the long piece...ready for use.

I can dig up the number if you need. I can also sell you new apex seals probably cheaper than you can get them from mazda...$275 shipped/set. I think malloy's price on them is $350/set, and they sell cheaper than most dealers.

You need 6 of them.
These are the Mazda 2 piece steel apex seal. They come as a single piece (no need to order the separate corner piece), with the corner piece pre-glued on. The glue breaks free the first time you crank it.

So you need 6 of the above part number, and 6 each of the following (inner and outer apex seal springs):
N326-11-C06C
N326-11-C04A

Just give em the old part number.
It's been superceded, but the new part number should automatically pop up on the computers.

Or, you could just give them the part numbers I just listed above.

Yep, scathart nailed it. Also, Mazdatrix sells them for 52.20 each, or 313.20 total (if my addition is correct.) How do you get them for 275, Kevin? Thats even marginally cheaper than through Mazda MotorSports. Or is it a trade secret? I'm actually curious about what I could get them from at my dealer since he usually gives me the shop discount....
