Angry Orange pressure regulator control solenoid?

Hi,

I managed to break the tip off the orange pressure regulator control solenoid and now I can't attach a vacuum hose to it. Do i really need this solenoid or is there something I can do to not have to replace it?

Thanks!

Should be easy to find a replacement. People pull them when they do emission delete. It helps with hot starts. It the only one of the 4 on the rack I kept on my build. Put up a thread to buy one.

All of the solenoids are the same, just configured differently, so if you've pulled the other solenoids you already have a replacement at hand.

Another option...
Many hardware/hobby shops have a selection of brass/stainless tubing.
Find one that will slide into what's left of the nipple and superglue it in place.
Voila! new nipple.
