opinions on v1.5 Rtek7...

so i browsed pocketlogger's site. it says it has the following feature..

Lower secondary injection to ~3500rpm
Increase primary injector duty cycle cap by ~5%
Timing retard above 9psi; ~1deg per psi.
Built in FCD
AWS removal

it also says it doesn't have the flood clear feature like v1.0... why is that? is there not enough room or something?

i just wanted some opinions about it. it seems like good stuff. especially for those running higher boost.

Just an assumption...

The S4 only has a narrow range TPS... it can't read throttle position past I think 14 percent. (The S5 has upto 100 percent... i.e. when the ECU reads 100 percent throttle while cranking, it shuts off fuel.)

I think what he did was if the S4 TPS was maxxed out (anything above 14 percent throttle) it would then cut fuel. I guess this just didn't work out so good

henrik's on teamfc3s a decent amount, or you could probably email him.

Simply put he ran out of room on the ROM.

GSracer has it. There simply wasn't any room left. With Stage 2 this will not be a problem as it will be a daughterboard setup with extra memory.

The change in the staging point is worth its weight in gold. You won't run lean with 550 primaries and 720cc secondaries between 3000-3800rpms. Many people with boost controllers, large exhuasts and intakes can hit full boost before the secondaries come on. This solves that major problem. I'm personally waiting for stage 2, so I can ditch my s-afc and run my 720cc with out that damn thing.

The s4's are going to be coming along much sooner than any s5. Henrik has an s4 car, hence the s4 progress. I pm'd him about the stage 2 for the s4. Its going to be out in may-june and under $150 bones. It'll run 720cc injectors and change the staging point to 3500rpms.

Stage 1.5 looks like is ready for sale! Of course I'm probably late and everybody already knows about it. I'm sending mine out this week to get it done! Can't beat the price either at $115 and the thought of having the FC removed with timing retard will ease my mind a little.
