Opgraded brakes/discs/pads for the FC turbo II vert ?
Hello all wankelfreaks ;o)
I am the lucky owner of the FC turbo II cabriolet and is looking for better/upgraded brakes, discs and pads for this car. Is it the same as on the FC turbo II coupe, will it fit boath cars or is it special for the cabriolet ? maybe you can recommend me manufactures of good brakes/discs/pads who makes parts for my car ? hope you will help me, thank's a lot guys.

The stock rotors do great, just be sure to get them turned if they're not smooth. I've been using Hawk HP+ pads. They can be noisy, but stop wonderfully. Also might want to invest in some upgraded brake lines.
The stock rotors should be fine, or you can use the Brembo blanks that a lot of people sell on ebay, etc. For pads I recommend Hawk HPS (Personally, I think the HP+ dust too much and make too much noise for a street car) or EBC Greenstuff. A set of stainless brake lines will improve pedal feel a lot as well.
I use at my convertible Tarox drilled discs. They are at the same size with the stock ones. I also use Ferodo Racing pads. Very happy with all. I payed about 280e. Brembo are really cheap but I wanted holes... and Brembo had not.
my friend has Axis Ultimates on his 7 and they stop freakin awsome! Very low dust and no noise at all. Stock rotors should be fine... if they are warped or can't be turned anymore just buy OEM style rotors... almost no point in buying those fancy drilled/slotted rotors.
