racing beat header, presilencer, and borla cat back. it used to shoot nice 2+ foot flames out fo both pipes before i installed my SAFC and fixed that up. Now it just pops and leaves some smoke.

Every rx7 I own can, various exhausts on everyone ranging from stock engines to supercharged to turbo'd. Simple answer is, any rx7 can that doesn't have cats and baffled exhausts (makes it rather difficult).

My exhaust only pops little flames when I shift at WOT. It's a little harder for it to pop flames because the exhaust doesn't collect...

The day I blew a coolant seal and melted the internals of my engine I was shooting 6 foot flames out of each RB turboback tip.

See signature/vb garage for mods.

I have straight 2.5" pipe from the manifold back to some otto racing straight through mufflers and mine shoots 3 to 4 foot flames everytime i shift WOT above 5k rpms, but i think im running rich, is this caused by a bad o2 sensor and bad plugs..??? how much are 02 sensors anyways

02 sensor is only $20 bucks ant the local autoparts store. just ask for a genaric single wire bosch o2 sensor if they try to give you crap about not carying one fro an rx7 or want a crap load of money for one that only has a different plastic connector.

o2 sensors dont affect your WOT, only cruising.

I have no clue if i get flames. If I dont its b/c of the presilencer I have.

well still, O2 sensor at my work (advance auto parts) is $17 dollars for the universal bosch and I think $26 but maybe $36 for the pre-cut connector. I read you can shoot flames easy by disconnecting the water thermo sensor...my TII doesn't shoot flames but that maybe be because of the exhaust leaks at all gaskets.
