im kinda surprised noone has said anything but the factory hoods do over extend a pretty decent amount the tabs on the back of the hinges that dont let it exceed past a certain amoutn you can easily bend them and allow the hood to open straight up without causing any damage to the ends

+1! Why hasn't anyone said to just bend or cut them stupid annoying stoppers off so you can open the hood alot more . But reverse hood would be sweet if the hinges don't looked rigged and everything open/closed properly.

My aluminum T2 hood comes off super easy, just out with the 4 bolts and washer fluid line, and I can grab it with on arm from the scoop and be good to go. I would think fabing up mounts and hinges would be more of a PITA compaired to my method that takes, what, 2 mins max? Just my opinion.
