open amosphere BOV, Dec-air on S-AFC?????

I have my BOV vented to the atmosphere, with no check valve, so of course the car doesn't idle, and acts badly at light throttle.
DOesn't the dec-air function on the S-AFC correct for this?? I can't figure out how to use it though!! The manual is vauge...
ANyone used this before??
Thanks

Yeah, the check valve will solve all your problems. Very simple to install as well.

nope won't help you. it doesn't idle now because it's leaking air. the S-afc is for changed the settings when the BOV goes off, not for leaks.. on talons etc the car can stall between shifts or when it goes off without it... different then leaking.

the decel thing isn't needed on our cars. leave it at 0. and fix the intake leak.

Good BOVs are on eBay fairly cheaply all the time. Probably better to pick one up that was designed to be open-vented then modify the stocker. Besides, the stocker gets marginal at 10PSI.
