My revelively stock S4 will only make 1 psi of boost. I removed the TMIC and checked all the intercool hoses and searched for vacum leaks and found nothing wrong. So know the air isn't leaking out anywhere.

So next I removed my TDI and gave the still hot compressor wheel a spin. (I know, smart move but I'll bleed for my baby if she needs me) The wheel span just fine, I'll pull the turbo when she cools down and check if the compressor wheel has gone to ****.

With that in mind, any ideas why I'm only getting 1psi?

 

your wastegate could be stuck open...

 

Make sure the wastegate actuator arm didn't fall off. Its held on by a tiny C clip that can break fairly easily.
