Only bucks under boost

I have been going through quite a ordial, like most I imagine. I replaced all my couplers for my FMIC with some from ATP Turbo, as well as T-Clamps. I have regrounded my cpu. That did take care of most. But, only while under boost do I get a problem. If I rev up slowley, I can go through the rpm range smoothly.

thank you

Not yet. I am not pushing much boost, a couple psi. But, if that makes the difference, I will put it right in. I have a HKS, just not sure which wire to cut.

when it goes lean, 16-20.1... At first under boost it drops to 11.1 or so, but at about the 3800rpm, maybe 3-4 psi of boost and it jumps goes lean.

sounds like you have an injector clip that is not connecting to the injector in the secondaries. 3/4 injectors firing can cause a severe lean condition once the staging begins. try not to boost too hard or "pop"!

i would start by double checking to be sure the pins in the injector clips are still in place, over time i have seen the locking tabs that hold the wire in place break and the wire push back into the connector causing a bad connection and wierd issues like this.

I believe I'm having the same problem..If I'm easy on the throttle it's smooth, but if I punch it...it's pop.pop.pop....I thought it was fuel cut at first because I was running too much boost, but after getting it turned down it still does it. After my rotary guru friend listened to it, he said it was detonation. Which would be verry bad. So what steps should I take to sort this out?

Sound like you have a sticking secondary injector.

The injectors where cleaned and tested by RC about 3 years ago. Just to note.

Today I bought 4 new clips, and rubbers groments for the injectors. I also have a pair of 680's I can put in place of the secondary 550's. Can I run 680's without fuel management?

yea you can run the 680 secondaries, preferably you have an SAFC to turn them down a little once they come on.

Ya know Karack, onthe rear secondary, the ground pin was pushed just a little back. Couple mm. Maybe enough though. I had to order some UIM gaskets next day so i can get ti together by Thursday. Let you know more then.

if it doesn't match how the others look then most likely it is what the cause is, i have had those pins push in several times in the past and cause wierd problems, it's easy to catch when they are in the primary locations though since the engine will only run on one rotor.

Ok, I just checked the resistance on my injector clips. I get a reading of 0.54 ohms when checking the ground. What ya think? I have regrounded all the connectors I could think of. However, I did not put a new end on my ground by the drivers strut tower, or the one that bolts to the body/tranny before by the starter.

What ya think?

Ya know, when I pulled out the rear primary injector to put new rubbers on it, I found a small particle below the injector caught on that plastic thang. Pulled it out with a pair of roachclips. Anyhow....

if the injector couldn't seal up maybe but i doubt it, personally my bet is on a bad connection at one of the injectors.
