one way vacuum valve help

one way vacuum valve help

hey quick question.
im putting my engine back in and i broke what appears to be a one way vaccum valve(see pic)
can i just put a beice of tubing in it place?
and where could i get a new one?

If you replace it with a bit of hose the relief valve in the ACV won't work properly. If you need your emissions system working properly you should replace it. Get a new one from Mazda or hunt for one at a wrecker. There are probably lots of forum members who haved them lying around too.

they have them at advance auto parts, its a generic one but i replaced the one for my twin scroll system and it works just fine... there like 2 bucks or something, on the help rack... hope that helps
