Angry Once again i blew my motor

Mazda put a rebuild block in about a year and a half ago and i only put about 20,000miles on it and its done i brought it back to mazda and they said it was toast, the rear rotor is not working at all, I have a coolant breech in the rear housing. So i am screwed big time. I have no more car and only about 1,000$ to spend on a beater or a motor. Im thinking of parting it out for all the upgraded parts that are on it, but i really dont want to get rid of it thats my baby i swore i would never sell it.

Anyone have a helping idea that i could do to save my 7?

This seems to be your only option if you want to save the car. I wouldnt try to get one from Corksport though, theyre about 1000 plus shipping there. I got mine from www.nipponmotors.com for 750 bucks, plus 210 for shipping to my DOOR. It was my first motor swap, and it was easy as pie. Well as long as you have something to refrence to anyway. If you want to save the car, go this route. I hope you have a friend with an engine hoise, theyre somewhat expensive to rent. I borrowed my friends for like 2 weeks, he was pretty mad I kept it that long. Anyway shipping could be cheaper, depending on where you live. Nippon is in Cali, and im in STL, MO, halfway across the country. Anyway I hope I helped you make a decision.

Do you have a TII or N/A??...If you have an N/A and want to buy an JSPEC you will have to do some major changes to your 7 and will cost you more than your budget. Jspec motor are all TURBO motors. Good luck buddy!..Dont feel bad. i blew my motor 2 almost 2 years ago and my car is still not running.

Well the reman engines come from dead engines right? Imagine if the housing used in the rear had been in a 120ishK mile car, overheated atleast once in its life, and never seen damage. Apex seal blew on its rear, it got traded. They used that housing that had been stressed again, lapped it down further weakining it. The previously started crack just became worse over time and this is the result. **** like this is why some car company needs to manufactur masses of new parts. Or make a certain new engine to be used in a new 4 seater work for the older cars

I am VERY upset about the towers. My blown engine pales in comparisson to what has happened in the last 48 hours.
I wish I could turn back time!

first, you have to take your blown motor out. this will give you enough experience to put a new one in. Find a good used engine at www.thepartstrader.com locally or drive a few miles for it. Hell the east coast has so many states one of them is bound to be nearby.

edit: my Mazda rebuild has 100k on it there now I jinxed it.
