OMP question
I did a delete on my OMP and am left with the pump hooked up. Is it possible to take it apart to make it easier to hide away, or does it need to be complete?

He can remove the pump and put a block off on the engine.
BUT: the guy has an S5.
It needs to be electrically hooked up to the harness or else it will put the car into LIMP Mode.
ECU must "see" the OMP hooked in.(still connected to the harness). He can remove the omp but Dangle it in the bay somewhere.
Only way to get around this is a Aftermarket "chipped ECU" from here:
digital tuning, inc.

Hey man I'm sorry to jack post but I have a question. My car is currently throwing code 27 and it's putting it into limp mode. If my oil metering pump is bad can I still block it off and leave it connected or will it still throw a code? Btw is a 91 n/a vert.

It would still throw a code and it would eventually lead to your ECU being damaged. You will need to replace the pump and quite possibly replace your ECU. You have the option of having your ECU rechipped, which will allow you to bypass the oil pump thus you're faced w/premixing as the complete solution.

I bought a used OMP from a junk yard the other day. Can I just leave the bad one on and kinda like use it as a block off and just connect the one from the junk yard and tuck it off to the side for now??? Thanks for all of your help.
