OMP in proper use but can I use 2 cycle oil with the omp too?

1989 s5 J-spec TII, everything is stock with the exception of the ecu. I did the emissions removal but have kept the OMP due to my not so confident self at remembering important things. If I keep the OMP will using the 2 cycle oil in addition to the OMP cause any serious detrimental problems with the longevity of the engine? I just want to be on the safe side (I may have messed up the OMP) or just in case something were to fail the engine would receive adequate lubrication. I'm new to the rotary engine concept and while searching the premix areas, I found it hard to understand some of the important facts. So basically...Will using the 2 cycle oil (any other premixing agent) with the OMP cause too much oil to be left in the rotary during its cycle causing a failure of any sort? Or is this ok? I just need some "not so difficult meaning" explanation of this concept. Thank you
Yes, you can still run 2 stroke w/no problems at all, you jsut won't use nearly as much. W/ the omp removed you want to use 1oz to a gallon, w/ the omp intact I think its moreso a quater oz to a gallon...I'm not sure exactly, I've never added two stroke with a working omp. But with the omp operational it isn't necessary and will probably just become a nuisance to you. You can not remove the omp fully on your series 5 by the way, the ecu needs to see it there, otherwise you will go into limp mode. That's no fun.
yeah, it's fine. all the RX-8 guys I know use about 4 oz. per tank with their working OMPs, which is about 1/4 oz. per gallon.
if your OMP might be broken... then I might up it to 6 or 8 oz.
I use 16oz per tank in mine at every fill up. (I don't have a stock ECU though) If you wanted to remove it with the stock ECU you would have to get a rtek chip installed in your ECU.
