OMP oil line ???s
I have a few questions regarding the OMP lines.
But first, I did rebuild all my oil lines as documented in a very well written prior thread. Bought parts from MSC (easy), built new lines (easy), pressure tested new lines (all good), and reinstalled with intake manifold off (easy).
Now I have heard opinions on both sides about reinstalling the vacuum to the oil injectors. I currently run premix for precautionary purposes, but would still like to see the oil lines working properly.
At idle, there appears to be virtually no flow of oil through the lines. After shut down, the oil in 2 lines drains back toward the pump. Other 2 lines do not.
1. Is there little or any flow at idle?
2. Is there a concensus on the importance of vacuum to the injectors?
3. With premix, should I even be concerned?
I don't see any ill-effects as if the OMP was bad. I do have another one that I can swap out, but I believe that if this one was bad I would get a "limp mode" indication, which I don't.
Thoughts?

There is very little oil flow at idle. I don't know the exact amount, but you will find it in the Haynes manual or Factory Service Manual. There is a very easy test in both manuals with which you can confirm the proper function of the metering oil pump.
There are no vacuum lines to the oil injectors. The hoses that connect to the injectors are air hoses from before the throttle body. They are very important to create the pressure differential which allows the injectors to "spray" oil.
I'm not sure I understand the question. Why would you run premix if the metering oil pump is installed and functional? If you are running premix in case the pump isn't working, just confirm that it is and stop premixing.
