OMP Limp mode (searched)
Everyone talks about how if you block off the omp and continue to use the stock ecu you will go into limp mode. is this true for a s4 TII model car as i have read they do not have a limp mode that limp mode was only in s5's? or is this just more accusations?

If you Block off the Omp on an S5 and REMOVE the omp from the harness,YES it will go into Limp mode.
You have to keep the OMP hooked up on the harness to prevent the car from going into limp mode...(the OMP needs to be a GOOD OMP too.)
Some Guys just Put the Omp Out of the way of everything and Ziptie it to something, and use the block off plates on the s5 engine and Premix
Other Remedy is a Standaalone.no worries about the ECU goiing into limp mode.,.no worries about no Electrical Omp either!
and lastly,,Like My Friend RR says..S4's do not Go into Limp mode.(thank God!)
