so .. re assign a spare out to that idle motor and get your stepper wire back
i have eomp control on idle 1 to 4 .. with the EOMP position input to AD3 ( pin 17 on the 34 pin connector )
and still have a spare out ( or two ) left which i use to trigger my power valve on my LPG system
....all whilst logging the wideband and also EGT
so there should be plenty of aux's left to take that idle control
on early e8 looms you may have to unpin 12 on the 26 pin connector
( 12 is locked to o2 feedabck )
and move the wire and pin to 13 and then have it as useable aux out AD1 for your idle control

PS.. else you can use just one output and map it to drive the aftermarket EOMP stepper motor by jason dixon
.. approx $150 -200 last time i looked
( needs a 0-5 V output signal for load, can use a pulse width TTL signal too .. or can be run from the spare position sensor or from the supplied map sensor )
