Thumbs up Older Caravan E-Fan = Good FC E-Fan

I got the e-fan out of a junker Caravan at work (like 93ish?) and it is the same height as the radiator and the brackets are at the same level and the shroud top bracket is. So i am making a piece to attatch it too. No cutting through the radiator! It works very well and has a small plastic shroud built onto the fan. but is still slimline. covers 90 percent of the radiaor.

just thought id share as an alternative to the Fierro fan.

Nice find man. My personal favorite is the Escort fan (which I'm looking for now), but I'll check out this one as a possibility too.

Escort fan is fine too, covers most the radiator (almost all), shrouded, and it was very easy to use the stock bracket points with it. To moutn I just used some aluminum and drilled new holes and mounted it on the stock bracket point and a stock point on the escort fan that was right near it, worked great.

Have you tried out the caravan fan yet? Does it blow a lot of air?

it is single speed but it is at a high speed. It came out of a 6 cyclinder so it has power. Plus it was its only fan.

Hm... my family has a 94 Caravan. I wonder if they'd care if the efan disappeared?

Thanks for the info, though!

Most V6 GMs use the same fan. The Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Pontiacs, etc. all use the same fan as the Fiero. These fans work well, but of course, nothing beats the stock clutch driven fan...
