I have full spare exhaust I want to gut the pre cats on my spare set.My question is will the car run with the precats gutted or will the pre cats just burn through.

 

guttet cats will hold up.

 

He's right, They'll be fine. If anything, the less cat you have, the less total heat you'll have inside that section of exhaust.

You should be able to, if you're tuned right.

Red, I know this sounds totally stupid
but.

I want you to measure your precats for me while you're gutting them. I am making a precat replacement pipe that allows usage of the stock main cat, and I want as much information as I can get without removing mine. Seeing as you have a set that are already out, perhaps you could assist me?
