Is there any advantage to using a safc II to
a older 5 **** model. All I want to use it for
is to tune my secondaries on my TII. Next
question are all the older models compatable
to a rx-7?

the five **** model is two generations(models) back.
There are plenty of advantages to it.
The new S-AFC "II" has two different maps that it uses to creat the overall fuel correction map. Low throttle and High Throttle. The new one also monitors air flow, throttle possition, and the voltages/readings from these sensors which is cool for making sure your shart is in ok condition. It also logs those readings to be played back. IIRC it also has three save areas for different setups. It also has pasword protection if you want it. It has 12 correction points IIRC that are adjustable by 50% not 30% like the previous models. They are also settable to within 200rpm of each other.

YES.
