i bet your eating fuel like no tomorrow.

You could replace the downpipe with a RB header.

How about electric fan, clean up the engine bay a little.

take out the front bumper support.. cuz if you hit someone in the front its your own fault.. remove PS and some other accessories.. take out sound deadener.. but i would go with an exhaust.. use a single exit less pipe equals less wieght..

Amy other ideas? Best E-fan?

Does the e-fan make a big difference? Just replaced my fan clutch yesterday. I've also heard the catback only gives about 5 hp and makes it alot louder. I want to be able to hear my radio well, but I guess I wouldn't mind a louder car for the cool sound. I have a downpipe instead of a header so it shouldn't be too loud right?

accually with a header and a free flowing exhaust you will pick up about 20-30hp.. your "down pipe" is accually called a Race pipe since your car is a non turbo.. and your race pipe isnt taking full attvantage that a header would b/c you are still using the stock exhaust manifold... yes a e-fan is worth it.. it reduces drag on the motor.. for every 5lbs of rotational mass moved off of the rotating assembly is equal to 1hp.. every 100lbs off the car is equal to .001 of a second(or 1hp)... to experiment wire open your 5/6ports with zip ties and take off all the belts that are used for accessories, leaving only 1 belt that hooks to the crank, water pump, and alt.. you will notice a huge difference in top end all though there will be a little loss in the bottom end but nothing to worry about.. my setup on my car is pretty much like i described and i cannot complain.. also there will be a simular diffence when you add an electric fan on top of everything else..
Just my $.02,
Dave

as long as you get a E-fan that flows at least 1800CFM you will be fine..

The RB exhaust doesn't sound loud in my TII. Maybe the turbo dampens the sound? I think it would sound fine unless you cruise using WOT. It gives it a deeper note, unlike the many Civics I hear jacking around.
