I think technically you can buy every single part, including sheet metal from Mazda, so if you're good at welding and have an assload of money to buy all the jigs and equipment you're going to need, you could actually build yourself a brand new FC...

although just the parts would probably cost you 5 times what the car cost when it was new...hahah

Has anyone else heard about them reproducing muscle car bodys in asia?

theres only about 20 fc's still running at any givin time.. mines down, but as soon as its running again another will fall..

no, they used to...but now you can just buy all the metal that is used to make the frame...lol

Frames cost around $8K when they were still available IIRC...

my 86 has 105000 on the original engine and still running strong!! I have an extra motor with 56000 on it if anyone wants to buy/pick it up.

i dont think its that high...cuz there are about 15ish around my area and only 1 is running ...mine and 3 other guys are undergoing rebuilds and swaps ...
