Is it ok to use the smallest wiringharness(turbo) on a n/a
As the title says, I wanna use a turbo wiring harness on a n/a. I'm talking about just the one that connects to the alt, battery, transmission and fuse box. It has 3 white plugs that connect it to a bigger harness by the firewall under the brake booster.
Car has n/a harness, turbo motor and ecu. I wanna do this cause the harness on the n/a only has 5 of the 6 wires for the transmission for some reason. Can't find the missing wire

There are some differences between the two harnesses like the alternator wiring and temperature sender wiring (if I remember correctly). Look at the diagrams at the back of you Haynes manual and see if it's worth trying to modify things.

these do tend to differ. im not sure if its from year to year or turbo to n/a but i know i tried using one off of an 86 gxl onto my 88 turbo and some plugs matched perfect but some didnt line up. the only ones i believe different were the starter wire and maybe the clutch fluid sensor. sorry to be so broad i jus know that some differ, maybe all. if you have it just check them out
