well it sounds weird now. like b4 it would sputter and then just kinda turn over and over. but now it will kinda do that but its just like wah ah wah ah and not really much catch you know. alot of smoke out the back tho. idk if its just cuz its windy today and i can see it better but there seems to be quite a bit more. but its not seeming to have enough ommfh to get it started. like when we have to push start it it really takes a jolt to get it going. and it doesnt seem like it has that you know

OH dear... Sounds like your coolant seals may be going bad. Do the coolant seal test located in the FAQ.

HA wow. i did that test thing. and NOTHING happend at all.
i used this site http://www.rotorwiki.com/index.php/Engines
and it told me to do this. and i did. with no coolant coming out.

* I think my engine has been overheated. How can I check to see if the coolant seals are good?
* Fill coolant system ALL THE WAY UP (engine cold). Make sure that the fluid level is as high as you can get it. Leave the filler cap off. Remove the EGI fuse. Crank the motor (it should not start). If you get a LARGE amount of coolant coming out of the coolant fill, its safe to assume your coolant seals are blown. Also, a good indication is a fuel/exhaust smell in the coolant.

i have had some over heating problems tho but it was due to a bad rad cap after that i havent really used any coolant that i can notice. but the exaust pipes smell like gas bad.i cant smell the smoke like i said the wind is horrible today but i do smell lots of gas.

2 things to add.

1. is it leaking gas/ hole in fuel line

2. fuel injector sticking open, causing it to flood.

so its still a fuel problem? how could it be flooding with that switch? and could my fuel pump not be working right? and whats with the white smoke? id figure it would be black if it was too much gas. water burns white if im correct.

What kind of switch did you use? The majority of those cheaper autozone switches are only designed to work with accesories that handle less then a 10 amp fuse. That may be your problem. Try switching to a more heavy duty switch if you have a cheap one on there.

EDIT: I just seen where you said it smells like gas a lot. You probably have a leaky fuel injector..

it may be an injector but it smells primarily outside and behind the car. like towards the back and not in the engine compartment. my switch is a 10A switch so ill go get a new one in a while. any suggestions on size of that? im not sure what the amperage is on that circuit but i could check.

I'm voting leaky injectors as well....the white smoke IS gas, because 2 of my FCs do that same thing. I will be trying to turn it over, and finally when it starts, white smoke pours out. All that gas sitting in there ready to light and when it does, WHOOOSH!

The leaking injectors are causing it to flood from the inside, *if that makes ANY sense* so why it smells like gas out the tailpipe is because that's where it's shooting that extra gas...

so new injectors then.. and a new switch.. now if an injector is leaking would that cause horrible gas milage and causing it to not warm start?
