Ok... A question...

What happened:

Yesterday, I raced a riced honda - I won. Tonight.. I raced the same guy, I lost BADLY.

First race: I did it like I was at the drag, rev'd to about 3-3500k. I took off and it took a bitch to get up in rpms, would not MOVE.... well, it went VERY slow.

The second race: I took off normally, seeing if it was just the way I took off, nope. It did the same ******* thing. Even when I was WOT. WTF is going on?

Ok, let me rephrase all that:

It just started tonight. In otherwords, it has never done it on normal driving. When I took off pretty hard the first time, it acted as if it didn't want to go anywhere. The second time, I took off reasonbly slow, and it did the same thing, even doing at WOT to get into 2nd quickly....

Basic maintence? Mileage on cats? Condition of fuel pump (oem?)? Fuel filter?

Be sure to include any tidbits of info...

It sounds like you are releasing the clutch too fast. 3-3.5k rpms is just right for launching. Let the clutch out a little slower and you should be golden.

If your car was fine the day before and you haven't noticed any difference in everyday performance, then it's driver related.

Well, now that I know it's not just from illegal street racing last night, it's still happening. Whether or not it's driver error. If I take off resemebly slow, and speed up, it'll bog down again, and not get into the rpms as fast as it normally would.

I do, remember having this same problem - or similar - it would bog when it hit around 3500 rpm to about 5500 rpm. I, and a few others around here were thinking it was a BAC leak. I'm not entirely sure.

The problem quit for a while, and then it started back up again yesterday. So, I'm not really sure...
