Ok i feel stupied now, Where is my ECU at?

Ok i feel stupied now, Where is my ECU at?

I just got a new ECU, But now i dont know where it goes lol
So any help on how to locate it will be great help.

Thanks, soon this Rx7 shall live once more

I have no idea... Above the manifolds on the NA there is nothing except, well a hood? On the turbo models there is the intercooler. I have also no idea how in the hell you would figure that was electrical..

Tis ok, answered my own question. Its the control unit for the fueling and emissions system. So in essance, possibly a control unit for the engine... or even, an engine control unit... or perhaps I'll shut up now. And I'll agree its not directly above the manifolds, but if you're looking from the front of the car at the engine, then it appears to be so.

THis reminds me of the time a guy removed his Power Steering computer and thought it was the ECU. I laughed for a LONG time...

You'll have to peel back the carpet and expose a plate. 4 screws to take the plate out. Then you'll see it.
