My Stock RHD JDM S5 TII has plenty of spark but there seems to be an electrical problem with the fuel injectors. The rail has pressure but the injectors aren't pulsing. I believe thye have power getting to them so should I wire a ground to each injector?

Any particular sensors I should test? And possibly replace?

I believe I'm the sexiest man alive. It doesn't make it so, Check with a multi-meter that they ARE getting 12V at one of the pins with the key on.

NO!!!

First off, how do you know they aren't firing? Have to pulled the rail with the injectors in the rail and wired, then tried cranking it over?

What kind of condition are the clips in? I.e. are they simply not making contact with the injector?

And lastly, you said its stock. Is it actually stock? Or "I bought it this way" stock? And in either case, what EXACTLY is the problem and what have you done recently as far as maintenance as well as possible fixes for the problem that you've tried so far.

Pulled the rail. Cranked it. Nothing. pull the injectors and fuel spewed out of the rail.

Its all stock. this is it right here.

I replaced ECU, test grounds, tested fuel pressure. i tested the injectors twice first they got 8 volts then i tested it again and they had 12 volts

Mmmmok.

Firstly, thats half a car

Secondly, how have you attached whatever temporary lines you're using to prime the system? You know the J-spec FC has its fuel lines reversed right.............

Thirdly, why have you replaced the ECU? In all my years of working on FC's I have only seen 1 entirely pooched ECU.......and that was because of welding without taking the negative off the battery. What made you think it was broken?

You said "test grounds"....what test and which grounds?

What was the fuel pressure and where was the gauge?

You said you tested the injectors twice. Were you measuring resitance (ohms) or voltage to the injector clip(s)?

Correct me if im wrong but doesn’t the fuel injector need to be under vacuum to function?

No, the vacuum hose is for better fuel atomization. You can pull them out and they will still spit fuel. In fact, you can completely disconnect them from the rails and listen for the clicking, which is much easier and cleaner if you aren't troubleshooting a specific injector.

check and see if the pins in the connectors have backed out any. I've seen that happen many times.

Yeah both injectors don't click. I'm pulling the oil injectors off this afternoon. If they don't work either then some kind of sensor is screwed up or my 2J ground isnt right. Does 2J a ground for the injectors. My 4 B (sys and analog) grounds for the ECU have a full 12 volts

I have 3 N374 ecus. Only one sparks.

I'll check my pins too thanks

The oil "injectors" don't function like fuel injectors.....at all.

Is the EGI fuse intact?
