ok, heres a better pic of #3 from the first pic.

from what i can tell by following it with my hand, from the vac line, it goes to a hardline, which then goes down by the turbo, and under it.. and thats as far as i can reach my hand. also that line on my firewall... i cant find the nipple of where it would attach to.. any direction on that?

would it be #3 in this picture? well like.. the nipple that #3 leads to?
sorry about all the big pics my friend had his new cam over the passed couple days and he just went nuts taking pictures of everything..
That's needs to be open-vented or plumbed back into the intake vacuum, after the throttle plates - make sure this uses some kinda check valve and sees NO boost or positive pressure. Positive pressure in the PCV will cause excessive smoking through the exhaust.

If you got rid of the solenoid, I dunno what to tell you. The twin-scroll solenoid is ECU triggered at 2,800RPM, so it's not like you can trigger this mechanically.
Ideally, I would yank all the twin-scroll crap and pull the twin-scroll flapper from the turbo exhaust manifold, but I dunno if you're capable of doing this.
If you just plug the hose up or ignore it, the twin-scroll flapper can block part of the passage in the turbo exhaust manifold which WILL degrade turbo performance.

Which solenoid was it? The DSV or whatever that is on the oil filler neck? I still have that one. And I planned on pulling the turbo either today or tomarrow to port the wastegate.
Defintily not seeing any nipples around there at all.. do you have a picture of it or if I took a picture of the surrounding area do you think you could point it out?

this weekend when im home i will look and be able to describe it better..right now im just going from memory...i'll post tomorrow night after i check it out on my engine.

Solenoid just clicks on to connect the passage, so it doesn't matter what goes where....hmmm, does it have one of those little air filters on it?
Connect one to the twin-scroll actuator and the other to some manifold source. I think it needs to see pressure, so it can connect to anywhere between the intake manifold and the turbo.

cloead, look at the twin-scroll info on page 4B-53 of the FSM. Reconnect the solenoid, check valve and actuator exactly as per the schematic. If you omit any bits or install them the wrong way around, it won't work.
