Question Ok all you car stereo experts

I finished installing a Alpine 7893 in my car yesterday.
I used the harness that came with the deck. I also bough the harness that corresponds to my year car so can simply plug the conectors and be all set.
After doing this i am not getting any sound in my front speakers, plus my radio wont work nor will the power antenna go up. I dont understand because all the colors are matched up perfectly so i dont know whats going on. I did connect the antenna cable from the car to the deck before i get that question.
Any and all help is always helpfull ppl
Thanks!!!!

Did you connect the remote amp turn on wire. Its just one wire and usually the harness doesnt come with that connection. You may also have poped your fuse while installing it so check your fuse since you say your radio wont work at all. -Gabe

woops i meant the radio wont tune to a station.
The deck works fine it lights up and all fine infact it sounds really good only prob is like i said, no front speakers, no radio, no powe antenna

hmm a blue amp tun on wire? well i dont have an amp. Is this essential for the whole deck to be working?? The only thing im running right now is speakers

the blue wire is for either an amp or an power antenna, rotorific is right its not normaly on the harness. the ant/amp has to have a signal from the head unit so it knows when to turn on and thats what that wire does. As for your front speakers, what year is your car and trim level. Some years came with factory amps on all the seakers and when you removed the stock head you my have removed the power source for these amps. More than likey your new head unit puts out more power than these amps anyway, that was my case so I just removed them.

You need to bypass your stock amps, also check fuse. Its not the colors you should be matching up, but their functions. read the install manual carefully. Do you have a power antenna? Did you plug the round antenna plug into the back of the Alpine? My 7 has 6 speakers, but your Alpine probably only has 4 amplified outputs.

You need a turn on for your power antenna. That same wire that you can use to turn on your amps can be used to turn on your antenna too. (I just ended up making it where the antenna stayed up and left it in that position and it gets great reception.) -Gabe

remove the OEM external amp. It should be under the passengers side dash. Just plug the harnesses together that connect this front amp up.

Make sure you've connected the radio to the right antenna lead. Mazda uses the "dual antenna" radios and the one on the windshield sucks.

The crutchfield harness workes fine with the OEM power antenna, but I'm not sure about the one you have. If it's made for an 86-91 rx-7 it shoudl work.

You have to run new wires to your front speakers. Just got the box that is on the passenger side and put it back in.

For the power antenna you will need to hook up a relay.

Have a look at this thread

Most modern stereos provide switched power for the antenna, but the stock antenna requires switched earth. Just get a relay and do this:
