water temp would probably work fine. you should pick up the oil fiter adapter from racing beat. easiest way to install one

I bought a nordskog from summit. $55 with sender. it's dig. lcd with memery recall. (shows highest reached temp with the push of a button)

mine's gone as low as 148 or so costing on the highway at night. and up to 206/7 a couple times. but normaly around 170-190

I know it's on a third gen (mine) but installing the oil temp gauge, sensor and sensor manifold are essentially identical to installtion in a 2nd gen ...and I even used the manifold for the second gen

how well does the nordskog show up in bright sunlight?i assume you got the red one?looks nice, otherwise,i just would hate to have to "squint" at it all the time in bright sunlight[when hi temps are most likely].
thanks

If anything they are TOO bright!. These gauges come with a separate wire to tie into the light switch to automatically dim them 50% at night when you turn your headlights on. During the day they are plenty bright enough.
