oil system drawing ?

the only pictures I have found of the engine oil system are horrible blotchy things that I cannot figure out.

for instance, the haynes book shows me that the oil pump is a dual setup, what does the other pump do ?

so far it looks like the oil comes from the pump to the cooler to the filter to the engine but I would like to get a firmer grip of what's going on.

is there a GOOD image or two of the oil flow path ?

{as a side note, is there any reason to NOT completely fill the engine with oil, other than it would leak out the vent ? }

Look in the FSM. S4 page 2-2; S5 page D-2. Both are pretty much identical, but the S5 one is much clearer. It shows the path of the oil flow.

The main oil pump pumps oil around the entire engine. The oil metering pump (OMP) feeds oil to the nozzles that inject oil into the combustion chambers.
