OIL problems
hey, my car seams to run fine but i have an oil leak somewere on my 13bt. i cant seam to find where it is. today i was feeling all around the engine since i dont want to take it out and think i have found the problem. if you are looking at the engine from teh front,, and take off the intercooler, theres this rod that connect from the throttle body to somewhere under the main pully. i dont know what this rod is, but when i feel where it connects down at the bottom, there is fresh oil.
it might not be this rod also, so i am wondering what are the most common oil leaks in a 13b.
and one more thing, is the inside of my intake piping after the turbo supposed to be sort of oily?

OMP control rod
What your talking about is your OMP-oil injection setup. Better start running premix since I expect you're not getting much oil to the OMP injectors and you're not doing your apex seals any favors if they're not getting the oil they need.
The rod that you mentioned is the OMP control rod that varies the amount of oil delivered depending on throttle movement.

the rod that connects on the opposite side of the throttle body from the throttle cable connects to the OMP (Oil injection to Engine) . But this was already posted... sorry, needed to switch display modes
