Oil Pressure/Temperature Issues
I think I posted this in the wrong section before. But I need help soon, I hope im not hurting the car by driving it. I cant even find what a normal temp range is supposed to look like.
I got an oil change, and previously, my stock oil pressure sat at 30 at idle, and up to 60+ under full throttle. aftermarket oil temperature never got above 150, even in stopped traffic on a hot day. I got an oil change (10w40 conventional castrol) and now the oil temp got up to 230 just stopped at a light, and cools to a little under 200 when driving, the pressure sits at 45 idle, and goes to a little below 60 under any throttle. I drive a 1990 streetported NA vert, OMP removed.

sounds completely normal to me. the stock gauge is inaccurate, but sounds like it's reading as new car would. and your oil temp should be in the same range as the coolant. were is the oil temp sensor located? it's possible your oil thermal bypass in your oil cooler was only opening partially before the oil change, or maybe it's only opening partially now, after. it really depends on were it's mounted.

How could, or why would, the oil be so much cooler than the water in the passage right next door?
I would expect oil temp to closely mimic the water temp, being slower to vary due to viscosity difference (i.e., water temp will rise/fall faster than oil temp).
Where are you getting the oil temp reading from?
oil temp reading on cyberdyne gauge is coming from the sending unit right below the oil filter. I have a 2" koyo radiator and an e-fan whos thermostat switch is set real low. fan is still functional. could it be possible there is a blockage of some sort?
