Exclamation Oil pressure and temp adapter

Hey, I got that Racing Beat one and i need to find some lines to work with it. I am turboing my n/a and so i am running the big one to the oil feed for the turbo and probably going to block off the other one. Anyone seen any lines for these? thanks

Lines.... for the adapter?

If we are talking about the same adapter, then you have 2 studs and a bunch of o-rings. It goes right under you're oil filter. You take the two 10mm bolts off the bottom of the filter, (take the filter off) then remove the studs, but in the longer ones.

Then put the block on clocked the proper way. (All explained in the paper supplied) After its in place there's two spots on the block open. One is a 1/8th" NPT and the other is a 3/8" NPT. The smaller 1/8" NPT is for pressure and the other temperature.

Personally since I don't feel oil temperature is that important, I hooked up a mechanical oil pressure gauge on the 3/8th" and the 1/8th" I hooked the electric sender for in the cabin. That way I can compare mech to electric. (I just had the extra mechanical one laying around so I figured why not? Its either that or a plug.)

So if you are using the larger one for you're turbo, then the other one why not put an aftermarket pressure sensor? I can tell you that the stock gauge shows just under 60psi, when the mech shows 70psi... It gives you a general idea, but I would definately recommend an aftermarket gauge..

Maybe I didnt understand it right...

Yea i was going to probably use the small one for an aftermarket gauge, but i need to find an adapter and SS hose to fit the big one and screw on the oil inlet line.

Ahh well, I am 99.95% sure that its a 3/8" NPT for that larger one, and the smaller was a 1/8"... I wish I had more info but I only slaped it on the other day to my N/A needing a smog now. ;(

Not for street NA's, but it is if you're racing or have a highly modded turbo. The oil's responsible for 30% of your cooling remember.
