Oil Pressure Regulator FD

Anyone here use an FD oil pressure regulator on their FC N/A? I am doing a rebuild and I upgraded to a TII pump and I am thinking about adding an FD Reg. What can I expect for pressure? Any problems to look out for? Anyone have one for sale?

Thanks for any input,

Brian

The FD oil pressure regulator is 100 PSI. It is a direct swap.

http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/shimoil.htm is another option.

You, don't need to do that, in the Tech. specs in the FC and the FD FSM it states they are both 156PSI. The FC reg . is about 71psi, and the FD is 91 if I recall right.

Thanks for the thread Aaron. I am going to modify my existing regulator and save $50.
