Oil pressure question!
I have been driving my car for about 3 years now without internal or cooling problems. My oil pressure guage never worked, untill recently when i cleaned the connector and put it back together...
it reads about a half inch ABOVE maximum while at idle. I dont believe that is right at all, broken sending unit?
It is the original JDM sending unit, do they use different reference voltages than the ASPEC versions? I have blown two oil cooler lines in the last 3 years....
ideas?

Buy and install an accurate aftermarket gauge/sender. The OEM gauge is not accurate. And then read the real numbers. Should be around 60-65 psi above 3K rpm with a fully warmed up engine and dropping to 30 psi or so at idle.
