Oil Pressure Question

I have an '87 N/A. When I start the car and the motor is cold, the oil pressure is really low. It's around 30psi. Once the motor warms up, it holds about 45 or 50 psi. It started doing this right when it started warming up out here. Could that be related or is it just coincidence?

20w-50 would be better in your climate.

your oil pressure is fine. what do you see at higher RPMs? also, get an oil pres. gauge if you're REALLY worried about it.

at higher RPM, once the motor is warm, anywhere between 60 and i guess it would be 80 or 90 according to that tiny frickin gauge. when it's cold, the pressure goes up to anywhere between 45 and 60 psi. The only thing that bugs me is that it didn't start doing this til a few days ago.
